Why A Birthing Ball Is Leading The Fight In Pain-Free Deliveries

i cant find a horse ball for my horse.. could i give him my gym ball (swiss ball)?
i was just reading old questions about where to get the balls because i cant find them anywhere here & found a answer saying to buy a gym ball instead.. the horse wont just pop it will he? & what do i do to get him playing with it? he has never played with a ball before.. i don't want to spook him.
Use a football, the gym ball may pop and scare the #### out of him!
